Top 6 homeware shops

Homeware!

Well I don't own a home.. however hopefully in second year the four boys I'm living with will let me put a few (unbreakable) knick knacks around the house because that makes my lame little heart content. Everyone loves to write about spring-cleaning and that season seems to be associated with changing up your environment but personally I think summer's a better time to do it, as you have more free time. Whether you're moving into University halls or living in your space, these items will make your room feel more homely. Therefore I've created a list of my favourite shops (online and in store) that I go to for interior inspo.

Most of these shops are relatively affordable depending on what you're buying, if you're like me and love buying a few accessories like cushions, frames and wicker baskets you'll adore these places! I also added a few items from each site that caught my eye and if you like the look of any I've put the links at the end of the post. Plus there's no denying that all these items are just so instagrammable (I think that's a word), I hate to be the vain social media type but if I had these in my house there would be constant blog photo opportunities.

1. TK.Maxx. What many people associate with questionable shoes and last seasons clothes, this shop is a goldmine for one of a kind knick knacks. With copious amounts of different photo frames, cushions and random ceramics you should definitely check it out! However remember just because it's cheap that doesn't mean you need it, especially the fuchsia Buddha.

2. H&M Home is my go to for on trend and affordable homeware. It's perfect for when you're wanting to add a few trend pieces to your pad but not wanting to invest a lot of money into items that may be temporarily stylish. Unfortunately their site is down at the moment but when it's back up I'll post a lust-list of their new items on the site!

3. Zara Home. Not the cheapest place, however if you're wanting to buy a few new cushions to throw on your bed or wanting a cute wicker basket to store blankets you can totally switch up your bedroom by buying smaller items, making it feel like you've drastically changed it. Plus their cushions look way more expensive than they are because of their bohemian and effortlessly cool prints.

4. Oliver Bonas. I'd say this shop and anthropoligie are my ultimate favourites because they create such high-end looking items that are timeless and give your house a very bohemian feel, which is my favourite kind of interior inspo. Oliver Bonas is the best place for a few knick knacks that are super stylish and it's pretty evident that I'm loving gold and palm prints at the moment! The pink palm leaf tray is giving me old school miami vibes, that makes me want to store cool gold whisky glasses on it.

5. Anthropologie. Similar to Zara Home many associate it with being expensive but it depends on what you buy. Small changes like buying a soap holder and using it as a ring dish or buying a cute coffee table book such as this Surf book can make your room feel refreshed and new. Ughhh can I just live in this shop.

6. M&S, typically associated with percy pigs and your nan, this department store surprised me when I went online to look for homeware for uni. Their bedding, cushions and picnic-ware definitely gives off an unexpected young, vibrant vibe. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
