OFF THE SHOULDER TOPS.
2015 fashion was filled with fringe, floppy hats and flared trousers aka the 70s trend. Luckily for me I've always loved prints and the boho style, particularly because of Vanessa Hudgens, the queen of Coachella! So this trend was awesome because it made this style of clothing way more accesible because practically every highstreet shop was selling floaty off the shoulder tops! I love this style of top, it's very flattering and I think we should show off our decolletage way more! Here are a few I've adored in 2015:
Primark (I cut off the straps in the pic above) The tops above were bought from Primark, I wanted a few feminine/flirty tops for festivals and holidays, I wanted to buy pieces I didn't mind being ruined by mud or the sea!
I got this top in the Urban Outiffters sale! During the summer I wore it with a pretty bralette peaking through the back and also wore it with a vest top when it got colder or to make it 'school appropriate.' The purple, lacey bralette I'm wearing is also from UO, it gives the outfit a 'free people' look which I adore!
From 12 years old to about 15 I was absolutley obsessed with New Look, I hadn't been in the shop for years. Whilst doing my daily routine of scrolling through the ASOS app before I go to sleep, I was drawn to this tassly top. It turned out to be New Look, so well done New Look for upping your game! I love the tassels and the embroidery in the middle. This is good top if you wanna try off the shouler tops but can't be dealing with strapless bras!!
All sunglasses featured in this post were from Quay! I hope this gave you some inspiration and I look forward to rocking more bardot tops in 2016 with you! I hope you guys had an amazing Christmas and happy new year!
