After months of perfecting your personal statement, entering all of your grades into UCAS and going to multiple open days; you've finally sent off your application, congrats! Waiting to hear back from your chosen universities can be extremely daunting, you'll want to constantly refresh your emails but it's best to put it to the back of your mind. It's currently the 18th of November and I've just sent my application off (please cross all crossable limbs for me, I need the luck!) Anyway here's what I got up to in the evening to not only congratulate myself but to also take my mind off of it!
I started off the evening by drawing myself a bath, I mean what else would a teenager do to celebrate? Binge drink? Of course not, have a bath! I used my favourite Christmas bath bomb Luxury Lush Pud from Lush and lathered Origins Clear improvement pore clearing mask onto my face, it's definitely worth the investment.
You may scoff at the price and think well I can get a facemask from my local supermarket for a pound. Although those were a lot of fun at sleepovers when you were a tween, it's more of an activity rather than to actually help your skin. Whereas with this mask, after you wash it off you can instantly see an improvement. I tend to get a lot of blackheads around my nose and this reduces them massively, plus it makes my skin feel very refreshed!
After putting on your toasty PJ's pick out your favourite film, mine being 500 Days of Summer: Joseph Gordon-Levitt + the best soundtrack ever = what more could you want!
Before you sit down on the sofa and are unable to get up for multiple hours due to comfiness (laziness), make a warm drink. I went for an Ovaltine, I haven't had this drink in years. It always makes me feel nostalgic, because I'd always drink it before bed when I was little so I find it very comforting!
After making it in my new favourite Anthropoligie mug I sat down and watched the film! Can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful this mug is though...
